weekly photo challenge: create

June 22, 2012

Arlo has hundreds of plastic animals – it’s what comes of being the youngest (you inherit all the toys, although he has added quite a few of his own to this particular collection) – and he still likes to play with them. Usually he creates some scenario which covers the floor. This evening almost all the animals were out irrespective of  whether they’d be found together in their natural habitat – unusual, because he’s normally quite strict about this. When I suggested he tidied up a bit before going to bed he didn’t really pay an awful lot of attention and carried on playing. “How long do you think it’s going to take all these animals to get back to the countries they came from?” he said “They’ve only just got here anyway”.
