Potato Candy Moomin

December 13, 2011

Yesterday evening the beloved and I braved torrential, lashing  rain and tremendous wind and drove to Exeter – about 25 miles away –  to see English singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman and his band play. Fantastic. Folk music, but not finger in the ear stuff, really good musicians  – sometimes reminiscent of the Urban Folk Quartet, but not as manic – and more (and better) vocals. Catch him if you can.

We ate pasta before we went out, so no scintillating savoury potato recipe in today’s post ,  but I did make a potato candy Moomin – Moomintroll I think.  The rabbit (Peaches) took a liking to the Moomin and nibbled his nose – so I took a picture.
