Potato Heart?

December 24, 2011

Today the beloved and I along with Teazel, Damon and Arlo (Poppy was working) met Lisa, Paulo and Nessy, Fina and Bibi and Jane, Kai and Rosa in the Barrel House for huge milkshakes, delicious hot chocolate and general festive chat (Jane and her kids had chips and falafels which looked very nice).

Meanwhile at home my father had offered/was coerced into peeling potatoes – we’ve all had enough potato peeling, but he’s here just for the festive season, so what better occupation for a retired gentleman than to peel potatoes for a worthy cause… Anyway, out of the bag – which is still half full, by the way- came this potato.

Is it a heart? Or a bottom? Is it significant? I don’t know. We can’t eat it of course, but I can take its photo and it can be a talking point.
