Arlo and Peaches – boy and pet rather than a weird dish.

January 4, 2012

Our house returned to normality today with the last of the Festive Season visitors’ departure and Arlo going to school – if you listen hard enough I’m sure you can hear the complaints. He spent a long time bidding farewell to the rabbit, Peaches (or Little Pizzas as Iona and Henry call her – Happy Birthday Liz). It’s a bit of a blurry photo, but it wasn’t quite light when we set off for school and I thought a flash would ruin the moment.

No food photos or recipes today. We have quite a lot of cheese to eat – Stilton, Cheddar as well as Brie so I think we’ll eat cheese with cranberry sauce dolloped inside mini Yorkshire puddings and shoved in the oven for a bit.  And some green vegetables for the beloved (nothing’s ever as simple as it first appears….)
