Fish and chips and a sea view – without Arlo

May 28, 2012

Most of the year six students at Arlo’s school are off on an adventure spending a few days camping at the Magdalen Project on a farm near Chard. If they can carry their stuff, they’ll have a lovely time. Arlo had a hard job getting out of the garden, but he has his buddy Logan to help…

With Arlo off having fun, it seemed only right that Halo Rella the beloved and I had some fun too – so we headed off to Babbacombe and to Hanbury’s –  the best fish and chip shop for miles.

The girls had haddock and the beloved and I had local hake – delicious and sustainable.

We ate sitting on Babbacombe downs overlooking the sea. Lovey view, lovely weather.

I was going to take a photo before I started eating, but I was so hungry.

So was Rella.

It’s always so rewarding when your children show how they can eat nicely…
