Half finished watermelon

August 6, 2012

I’m posting this painting of a half painted watermelon for Boo who thinks I’ve forgotten all about her in her hour of need. Sorry Boo.

This painting has taken me ages – not helped by the other things that clog up my life – motherly duties, civic duties and my foray into the land of the language student host (which means that I have to be organised, clean and tidy as well as nice).

I have to get this painting finished very soon and there’s a little way to go yet. I hope It’ll be done before the watermelon rots…
