Night time day time

August 10, 2012

Sometimes it’s difficult to get onto the computer in this house. It’s all important stuff of course like the night time day time bird so it’s really difficult to steak a claim. And after all I’m only blogging.

Today though I have insisted on access to the computer, but I’ve spent most of the time scanning and sorting out pictures of watermelons and my eyes and brain hurt.

The sun has been shining too –  a glorious day in fact (only marred for Arlo by the fact that Lukas left today to go back to Germany 😦 ) – so it wasn’t a great day to be inside – perhaps this is why computer access was so easily granted?  On the upside Paolo is still here, and Rella is back from her Over the Wall adventures. And to celebrate I made some sunny jam tarts using home made plum jam. Very English. Very simple – pastry and jam.

The trick is not to overload the tarts with jam so that it doesn’t go all over the place and make the tarts stick to the tin – I haven’t quite managed it yet.
