to everything there is a season…

October 30, 2012

It looked as if it would rain this morning, but by lunchtime the sky was looking less threatening – almost lighthearted, if a sky can look like that.

Poppa and I went into town leaving Arlo and Jeaniegran to work on Arlo’s times tables – the less said about that the better I think.

It’s been a sociable day. Annie popped round for a cup of herb tea (!) Grannie came for dinner and Halo and Damon have just arrived, bearing hallowe’en treats as well as ham and cheese sandwiches (which I took a photo of, but can’t be bothered to do what’s needed to be done in order to upload them onto the computer), and Rella’s rolled in from the wilds of Torquay.

The beloved spent a large part of the day powerwashing the concrete outside the back door. Must be a sign.
