morning2

It was cold again this morning. Very cold. And frosty – not just outside either.

Rella has a job which means that she has to leave the house at the unholy hour of 7.45 am. She hasn’t had to be up that early since she was at primary school and it’s a bit of a shock.happy-children

She and Arlo were breakfasting in the kitchen before it was properly light. Even the hamster was up and charging around in her ball  – and she’s nocturnal.

Breakfast seemed fairly subdued to me – obviously the pomegranate and raspberry wheats were too attention seeking.

I took a photo of my children breakfasting together (not sure they’ll like it much, but I felt I needed to capture the moment for posterity so that makes it OK).
