My dentist hums as she works

April 2, 2013

It’s true and rather comforting (although she informs me that I need a crown which will cost in excess of £400). It’s OK though because I can have a silver (coloured) one for free on the NHS – better grab this opportunity while it’s available (and before this government completely demolishes what’s left of the NHS and other things. But, as Stephen says,  I’m not going to talk about this government or I’ll have a heart attack).

I haven’t posted for ages. Arlo tells me that people will think we’ve all been killed by a dodgy meal I’ve cooked and the beloved says that any followers I have will have fallen by the wayside. The truth is that I’ve been busy painting (and visiting the dentist) and Easter’s intervened. all-threeall-fourkatrine

So here’s a photo of my children – unusually in the same place at the same time, but not all wearing great expressions at the same time – and another photo of two of them (and some strange woman) with Katrine, and a photo of Katrine in England in the sunshine (!) – with a bride in the distance. To complete the Easter picture set I need a photo of Arlo with his cousins Iona, Henry and Noah.  There’s still time – tomorrow’s another day.

Anyway,  if you’re in the Tangerine Tree cafe in Totnes my paintings are in the upstairs room at the back for the whole of April (!)  And if you’re in London, one of my paintings will be in the RHS London Orchid and Botanical Art Show in Westminster on April 12th and 13th.

Not bad really.

(Happy belated birthday Liza Beth)
